Ladle Tracking
IPACT has supplied a ladle tracking system (with associated CRT screens) on Level II to track full and empty ladles throughout the plant. The chemical analysis of the iron on a full ladle is also tracked along with that ladle, such that the correct analysis is available to the automation system at the steel-making shop that receives the iron.
