Inventory Tracking System

IPACT designed and implemented software to interface numerous wireless bar code readers into an ORACLE database on a VAX computer, enabling a food manufacturer to track raw material inventory.  The system properly routed and queued transactions to and from as many as 26 remote bar code readers with LCD displays, while guaranteeing message delivery.  In the ORACLE database, the system modified locations and amounts of the raw material as it was received and staged for use.
