Surface Inspection Database Server
Many of the surface inspection systems in use today (e.g. COGNEX ISYS) store their results on local files in a proprietary format. IPACT has developed a system that can monitor these surface inspection systems and place the inspection summary data in a relational database such as SQL or Oracle, without requiring any changes to the inspection system itself. This is a great benefit to customers wishing to avoid the problem of changing or replacing their inspection systems, yet wanting to house the data on a modern, open platform. In addition, IPACT's surface inspection database server can be linked to multiple inspection systems using just configuration, not programming, thus making it very easy to deploy and expand in the field.
The database server, like the coating weight gauge replacement, comes with a client viewing application that can be run on any modern Windows platform (including the server itself), providing users a graphical interface into the inspection database.
