Hot Strip Mill Coiler Tracking System

IPACT designed and implemented a coiler tracking system for a hot strip mill. The system was implemented in the ADA language on a VMS operating system. The coiler tracking system was integrated with the existing mill GE tracking system to form a single overall mill tracking system from the customer's point of view. The system was also responsible for uploading hot strip mill production information to the plant's IBM business computer via queuing/routing software developed by IPACT.
