Blast Furnace Data Analysis System
IPACT designed and developed a long term historical analysis and operations planning system for coordinating the operation of a Blast Furnace DCS (stoves, cooling, etc.) and a charging control system. The system integrated online and historical data for use by the practice engineer in establishing burden practices. This system also coupled the data analysis power of the statistical package RS1 to the process data to support long term analysis and development, as well as ad-hoc "what-if" type analysis.
