The Billet Tracking System provides a complete solution for managing billet inventory. Billets can be transferred from location to location either manually or automatically via connections to local automation. Billets can be cobbled, with specific reason codes for the cobble. Defects can be recorded against a single billet or against an entire heat. The Billet Tracking System provides manual reconciliation with a visual inspection / count at each location. The Billet Tracking System can be integrated to an ERP system to update location and status of the individual billets or heats.
