Ladle Tracking Campaign History

Ladle Tracking is an important capability for steel clients.  Understanding the life of the linings, the location of ladles and tracking the contents of ladles are key for any steelmaking process.  The IPACT Ladle Tracking Application allows a client to visualize the location of  ladles and manage the location of ladles either through automation or manually moving ladles from location to location.  The Ladle Tracking application also provides the capability to generate alarms based on projected cooling characteristics so that heats are not lost.  Finally, the Ladle Tracking application relates and maintains the history of which heats were used with which ladles.  This allows a supervisor or analyst the capability to link potential quality issues of a heat or billet with the actual ladles that were used to contain the heat.
