The IPACT Manufacturing Intelligence Application is a rapid deployment solution for bringing key KPI (Key Performance Indicators) to an executive’s desktop.  The IPACT application extracts key data in context and provides real-time updates to monitor.  As part of the application deployment, IPACT works with clients to determine “actionable” data with limits that will allow a client to have impact to the business by having the access to the right information, at the right time.

One building materials client implemented a pilot that allowed him to review actual material usage against plan for two key components of shingles.  This enabled him to determine when usage was exceeding plan and get line supervisors involved to correct the situation.  Previously, the materials manager was only able to look at reports from the previous month.  After the successful implementation of the pilot, the project was expanded to additional lines and sites.  This allowed the Vice President of Operations to monitor material usage across multiple plants, by division, plant, line and product.  The project yielded substantial savings to the client.
